The Acabion GTBO

It’s not often that a gem such as the Acabion GTBO pops up, but when it does, you can be sure we’ll be there. This ultra modern, super-streamlined enclosed motorcycle unit packs an impressive punch, rolling onto the scene with some equally impressive statistics to back it up. With an unbelievabley low frontal-area and the aerodynamic, curved moulding perfection of a razer-sharp rocket, the GTBO manages to weigh in at just the fraction of the weight of a standard Formula 1 Car, meaning that the enclosed motorbike has far less rolling resistance and being powered by a wicked 700 bhp turbocharged motor, in the wrong hands, this baby could be spectacular… The kicker? The makers of the GTBO claim that in under 20 seconds, from standstill the car can blaze at speeds of up to 400 km/h! The icing on the cake? This ‘auto-mobile’ is completely road registerable and most importantly legal. Swiss-based manufacturer Acabion intends to build as many as 26 GTBOs over the next four years, meaning that it won’t be all that long until your old Aunt Beth has her own nitrous-powered lawn mower. Till then, we’re off to burn some rubber. Sourced from Autoblog.
